to improve your life: Lifepoint report article Fox Sports reporter Mark Long will be bringing you an in-depth look at how to make better use of your time and get the most out of your life.
In this first of two parts, Mark will be showing you how to:1.
Focus on the positives of your busy life.
Mark’s approach to life revolves around getting his head down and taking on as many responsibilities as possible in order to have the most satisfaction.
His mantra is: “It’s not all about the clock, it’s all about what’s important”.2.
Get your head down.
If you’ve got a few hours to kill before you need to get up to make a phone call or go to the gym, then it’s probably a good idea to spend some time getting your head straight.
Mark will show you how, how to turn your head to the side, and how to use your body to distract yourself.
He will also tell you what to do when you’re exhausted and feel like you’re getting nowhere.3.
Don’t be a complete ass.
The first thing you need is to be aware of your limitations and the obstacles you’re up against.
Mark believes that you should never underestimate the potential that lies ahead.4.
Know when to take a break.
Mark will explain how to take the time you need for yourself and to take some breaks when you need it.
He’ll also help you know when to call someone for a drink or dinner, or if you should use the gym to help you get back into shape.5.
Get to know your priorities.
You’ve got to think of things in terms of their importance, Mark says.
If you’re going to have a family of your own, you’ll have to prioritize the things that matter to you the most.
If that means going to the supermarket to stock up on groceries, or spending time with your kids, then go for it.6.
Be realistic.
If it’s important to you to spend more time with friends and family, Mark stresses that it’s also important to realise that most people don’t spend a lot of time with people they love.
If this is the case, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t focus on what you do and why you want to do it.7.
Take care of yourself.
Mark says that most of us are so busy we forget to take care of ourselves.
In the meantime, Mark is here to help.
He’s got tips on how to start taking care of your body, get healthy, and build self-esteem.8.
Work on your weaknesses.
If your strengths aren’t quite there yet, then you may be doing yourself a disservice.
If so, Mark suggests learning to recognise your weaknesses and work to address them.9.
Work with a trainer.
The best way to work on your strengths and weaknesses is through a trainer, Mark explains.
He also shares some techniques on how you can use this information to improve.10.
Be yourself.
You might be feeling frustrated at your job, or frustrated with your family, but you can’t have yourself believe you can do everything yourself.
So instead, be yourself, Mark promises.
Find the best way for you to be yourself and then get to work.
